Being able to simulate the thoughts and moods of others, where "others" can also mean ourselves of the future is the result of an innate competence of all people: empathy. Turning this personal competence into a corporate one is the challenge that many innovative organizations are materializing. Understanding deep down not only the problems but also the desires and values of people, or the market, is what enables us to "swim in a blue ocean".
