Causal Layered Analysis Toolbox

Causal Layered Analysis Toolbox

Causal Layered Analysis Toolbox

Framing of the problem and capture its deep elements thanks to Causal Layered Analysis (CLA)

The problem to be solved is usually more complex than it may seem; often what we perceive is not the actual cause but only a symptom of it. Through a process of descent and ascent, the Causal Layered Analysis Toolbox will support you in deeply defining the problem while also providing the tools to solve it by changing the ecosystem at its root.

Structuring a new narrative that overcomes the systemic causes of a perceived problem enables the setting up of a system that supports its resolution.

How to use the Causal Layered Analysis Toolbox

1. First Step
Define the problem you want to solve, what sociocultural structures support it, and its underlying causes through the CLA Problem Definition Canvas.
2. Second Step
Define a possible solution to the identified problem, the narrative that promotes it, and an appropriate effects measurement system through the CLA Solution Definition Canvas.
