Overcoming current crises by leveraging your aspirations
Desirable Futures are the projection into the future of the concrete dimension of organisational goals. Through the Desirable Futures Toolbox, you can propose an alignment and sharing of personal thoughts to lead the members of your organisation to define and communicate desirable futures in the light of a common Purpose.
Desirable futures are the key that enables people, and thus the organisation, to initiate, promote, complete and repeat a process of innovation
How to use the Desirable Futures Toolbox
Teamwork at this stage
Review, report and transcribe the Purpose and values that motivate your organisation, your teams and the people within them.
Identify and select from the UN's proposed strategic sustainable development goals (SDGs) those that, consistent with your Purpose and values, help shape your organisation's Desirable Futures.
1. First Step
Set a time horizon by defining for each stakeholder the moment in the future when the Desirable Futures become concrete.
Activate a collective discussion and thinking that outlines Desirable Futures for the three levels (Macro, Meso, Micro) and decline your responses taking into account the three macro-areas: Prosperity, Planet and Network.
2. Second Step
Individually, synthesize the thinking into a statement that embraces all elements from Common Purpose to Personal, Team, Organizational, and Ecosystem Desirable Futures.
